The author might be a reincarnation of Oscar Levant, a famous wit (mid-1900’s) who said, “Every morning I wake up, brush my teeth, and sharpen my tongue.” This book encapsulates the essence of sharp, communicative writing. It mentors you toward writing that is at the same time “no frills” but also entertaining and informative. Laced with humor and not didactic at all, it is “teaching” about writing of all kinds that draws you in instead of “talking at you.” I am a writer and a “wordsmith” and I found much here that was fresh and worth taking to heart.
